Two reasons for celebration Monday night as Syracuse jumped on Great Danes of Albany University early and rode them all the way to a resounding 75-43 victory...
1. The win erased the taste of their exhibition loss to Le Moyne (VBTN contributor Ray Floriani wrote a very good analysis over at College Chalk Talk) and
2. It goes down as Coach Jim Boeheim's 800th win as a D1 coach. While discussions rage about where on the list of greats Coach Boeheim will rank, we do know he has more 20 win seasons than the great Dean Smith at North Carolina, having won 20 or more in 31 of his 34 seasons as a head coach.

Congratulations Coach Boeheim!
