A twitter report from China announced that Team USA beat New Century a professional team out of the China Basketball Association (CBA) by 27, 88-61 in an exhibition game in Huizhou, China earlier today. Vanderbilt guard John Jenkins, according to the same twitter report, hit 8-10 from the three point line. I will post more as news wire stories (and hopefully a box score) become available.
Team USA will open World University Game action on Friday in Shenzhen, China (host of the games in 2011) against Group D opponent Mexico.
