If you enjoy stats you need to see how CO_Hoya does it. Would like to see a site that does it for the entire Big East conference. We need to sit down with Henry Sugar over at Cracked Sidewalks and see how we can make that happen...

Granted the Red Storm has a number of cupcakes on their OOC schedule, but they have beaten quite a few of those teams rather soundly. 8-1 is the strongest start in a while. The Miami game on 12/27 will be a good benchmark. Miami is well regarded (fringe Top 25 team) and the Johnnies dropped a 19 point road game to the 'Canes last season.

DePaul is puzzling. I would like to see them in person (not that I am a fan of watching bad basketball...) to get a better sense of what that team actually does on offense. On paper Koshwal, Tucker and Walker are good enough (statistically) to form a nucleus. I thought Jeremiah Kelly might be Wainwright's long sought-for point guard, but results to date (few starts, looks like Currie is handling the rock) say no, not yet. I wonder if team morale is starting to influence their play.greyCathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08205379240405158462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4753743645741034308.post-35019712832483446612008-12-18T11:46:00.000-05:002008-12-18T11:46:00.000-05:00As always, a great read, I'll be posting this on S...As always, a great read, I'll be posting this on St John's message boards.

I don't know that St. John's wins have kept Norm Roberts off of the hot seat, but in terms of wins and losses, he has a bit of a cushion going into league play.

Fred Hill, with the AD firing, is in some hot hot water. I have seen DePaul in person, and they are just completely bad.Norman Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07685998344323579857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4753743645741034308.post-2962208409798949392008-12-17T20:14:00.000-05:002008-12-17T20:14:00.000-05:00Great read!!!Great read!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4753743645741034308.post-28217707546070901722008-12-17T13:05:00.000-05:002008-12-17T13:05:00.000-05:00Hear, hear. This is an excellently article, not jus...Hear, hear.

This is an excellently article, not just the analysis but also the writing.Brian Lernerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00844052204506883915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4753743645741034308.post-28102128394980470972008-12-17T07:26:00.000-05:002008-12-17T07:26:00.000-05:00Without question, the most professional villanova ...Without question, the most professional villanova blog out there.
